Ultimate Crafter's Companion--2 new Video mini-tutorials

Well, today/tonight I made a couple little mini-tutorials regarding the Ultimate Crafter's Companion (UCC). One shows how to replace the hinges when you get your new ones and the other shows what I've done to help keep my tools "on-board" & in place with the UCC.

Here's the video that shows you how to change the hinges on your UCC/Ultimate Crafter's Companion:

And here's the video about keeping your tools in place & on-board:

Hope these help. Don't hesitate to ask if you have other specific questions about either the Ultimate Crafter's Companion (UCC) or the Rock-A-Blocks (RAB). Just post a comment in the comment section following this thread.

Also, please don't forget to vote to be entered in my BLOG CANDY give away--see the previous thread from March 6th for all the details!!!

And if you're interested in placing an order for either the Ultimate Crafter's Companion (UCC) or the Rock-A-Blocks, go into my thread dated Feb. 27th & click on the "BUY NOW" Buttons within that particular thread--be sure to go to only those buttons in the Feb 27th thread to get the special sale pricing!!! BOTH products (Ultimate Crafter's Companion (UCC) and the Rock-A-Blocks (RAB) are back in stock & ready to ship!!).
TIA!!!!

  4. Glenda,
I just placed my order. I guess I watched your videos just enough to cave in. Thanks for answering the question about the hinges. I was going to ask that too.

PS: Not sure if my previous post went in. If, so, don't post this one.
    Thanks,
    Lori

  6. Thanks Glenda for all your tips and hard work. I have a couple questions, just watched your video on the UCC velco storage tip. Do you think you need both the UCC and the Scor-Pal. I have neither and was looking into buying the Scor-Pal but it seems like the UCC would be the better option as it also has the bow tying pegs. Is this correct? And do you sell the UCC for how much or send me a link

  7. Hi Donna,
I've tried several times to respond to your questions & to send you an email, but Blogger won't allow it because your profile is listed as private, so I'm resigned to just answering here & I'm really hoping you'll see it.

I own BOTH the UCC & the Scor-Pal--in fact I've owned the Scor-Pal since it first came out quite a while ago & I haven't even touched my Scor-Pal since I've had my UCC. There's NOTHING I can't do with my UCC, rather than the Scor-Pal--so my poor Scor-Pal just sits under my desk now. So besides all the scoring options, the UCC is actually a 10 in 1 tool--the bow tying feature is just one function, there's many more--my favorite thing to make with the UCC (besides all the card-making features that are soooo easy!!!)are the EnveloBoxes, which are 3-D envelopes, so you DON'T squish up the beautiful multi layered cards you just made!! Then my next favorite is the way I can make an explosion box in minutes (rather than hours, like it used to take me before the UCC!!). I just love the UCC, I can hardly explain it, the way it's changed my crafting life for the better!!!

If you want to place an order, please go to the Feb 27th post within my blog here & click the "BUY NOW" Buttons--be SURE to use the buttons within the Feb 27th thread only, because they are the ONLY buttons that have the special sales prices loaded onto them--here's the link, but I don't think it will let you just click it here within the comments, but, you could do a cut & paste of the link if not: http://glendascreativeplace.blogspot.com/2009/02/special-limited-time-sale-price.html

I look forward to being able to help you!! Thanks for all your questions!

  9. Hi Glenda,

I'm in Australia and just bought a UCC. Waiting impatiently for it to arrive over the loooong weekend since we have Friday and Monday off due to Easter! I'm just wondering about the hinges... Are they originally there already on the UCC? How come replacement hinges are needed? :|

Have a lovely Easter and hope to hear from you! =)

    Cheers,
    Joann

Cricut Markers using "Glenda's Marker Method"-Videos!

Do you want an easier & more precise way to use your Cricut Markers? For those of you who never saw my post waaaayyy last year on the Cricut MB outlining how to use my "Glenda's Cricut Marker Method", I finally taped some videos back in February (2009), but sadly, they were part of a group of Cricut videos I'd done that somehow disappeared off my hard drive. Then, after I recently did a "disk defrag" they magically reappeared, which was a THRILL!!!! So I finally got them edited & loaded up to YouTube. There is a "short" version of the Tutorial, which only talks about using the markers (using my "method", which does differ from the manufacturer's directions!) & shows how to change them, etc. Then there is an "extended" version, which is a 3-Part Tutorial that not only demonstrates how to use the "Glenda's Cricut Marker Method", but also gives some other "Hints & How-To's" in typica
